Beautiful Baths and Wonderful Waterfalls
Day one of the route to natural water sights is full of wonderful experiences. To start, you'll head north-west towards Pozar Baths with a stop at The Three Rocks to stretch your legs and take in a natural marvel. At the baths, spend the morning soaking up the healing properties of the historical baths and relaxing to your heart's content.
Lunch will rejuvenate your energy levels before you head south towards Edessa. Edessa Waterfalls are an iconic sight that must be seen in this region. With impressive, multi-layered waterfalls, you'll spend your afternoon being mesmerised at what nature can do.
After all the exploring, make your way back to Edessa for a lovely dinner and solid night's rest to prepare for day 2!

The Three Rocks (Οι τρεις πέτρες)
On your way to the bath and waterfalls is a peculiar little sight that makes for the perfect chance to stretch your legs while absorbing its beauty. The three Rocks and three rock pillars. You'll have to follow a steep path to reach the rocks, so bring good shoes to make it easier.

Pozar Thermal Baths
The second stop for the day mixes a unique bathing experience with beautiful surrounding nature for a morning to remember.
I stumbled on Pozar baths on my trip to Edessa Waterfalls which made it even more exciting as I was unprepared for this gorgeous experience of dipping in a waterfall thermal bath. It's also known for its healing properties for illnesses!
So soak up the magic water all morning until you start to get ready to move. After your bath, walk to the end of the site to see three natural waterfalls that flow into the baths and after visiting these, it's time to leave for lunch!

Ouzo "Stratos"
Who knew relaxing in a bath could take some much energy out of you? In between swims and trips to nature, go for a delicious lunch at Stratos in the town of Polikarpi. This beautiful little restaurant has the friendliest service I've experienced in a long time and, of course, tasty Greek food to match.
They're open for lunch every day of the week except for Monday, and you can make a booking through their website.

Edessa Waterfalls
For some travellers, the thermal baths may make your day, but for many, it's Edessa Waterfalls that will take the cake. It's one of the most famous waterfalls in the Mediterranean because of its powerful flow and makes for many really impressive sights. I say sights because the waterfall is split over any different rock levels, all tumbling down to the river below, so there is a lot to explore.
I jumped between exploring the many different falls at the site and then sat by the most powerful one and read a book - it was such a peaceful experience.
