Lake Bohinj and Great Places to see in Triglav National Park
After lake Bled, let's continue our discovery of the Slovenian treasures with lake Bohinj. Located only 20-min from lake Bled, this other lake is bigger and wilder. Lovers of nature and stunning landscapes will fall for sure under the spell of this place.

The Savica waterfall is located within the Triglav National Park. To admire it with your own eyes, you will have to earn it and climb around 500 steps. Once arrived at the top, you can contemplate this waterfall of 571 meters.
The turquoise color of the waterfall basin is truly unique. You can also see Lake Bohinj in the distance from the viewpoint.

As you are in the area, it is very popular to take the boat from Bohinj to Ukanc. This cruise gives you the opportunity to cross the lake on water and look at great nature landscapes thanks to the panoramic windows.
Either you take a one-way ticket, and you come back walking or by the bus, or you can go back and forth by the boat.
