Museum "New Jerusalem" is located in the building of "green architecture", which stores historical exhibits: archaeological, historical, ethnographic, art collections. The museum's fund collection numbers 180 thousand units, and temporary exhibition projects are regularly held.
Visiting the exhibition "New Jerusalem - a monument of history and culture of the XVII-XX centuries", you will learn how the Resurrection New Jerusalem Monastery appeared, about its role in the history of Russia, about the personality of Patriarch Nikon and much more.

The New Jerusalem Monastery is 300 meters away from the New Jerusalem Museum. It was founded in 1656 by Patriarch Nikon.
According to the plan, the monastery recreates the complex of holy places in Palestine. The main Resurrection Cathedral was created by models of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. It reproduces the likenesses of Mount Golgotha, the cave of the Holy Sepulcher, the site of the three-day burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In the image of the Holy Land, next to the monastery, there is the Gethsemane Garden. On the territory of the park there is a spring, a Nikon's hermitage and one can approach it.
Walk around the garden to see the beautiful views of the monastery from the outside.

On the way to the reservoir we will stop by the shop to buy kebab products by the water.

After the cultural part of our trip we will rest in the most picturesque place of the Istrawake Reservoir, namely the wakeboarding club "Istrawake". Various services are available on the territory of the base: cafes, baths, beach, covered veranda and barbecues. Also, extreme lovers can try water fun: wakeboarding, wakeboarding, aquaskippers and riding on cakes. We also offer you a boat ride on the reservoir. Such a trip is suitable for everyone and will be remembered for a long time.
