The Long Way Around

A short distance from downtown Snoqualmie, you'll find the iconic Snoqualmie Falls. This 268-foot waterfall is a great place to stop because it is easy to get to from the parking area. There's a paved path to the viewing deck, making it wheelchair accessible. This waterfall is a magnificent sight all on its own, but fans of the 1990s cult television show Twin Peaks will get a particular kick out of this landmark.

The Black Dog is a good stop for coffee in historic downtown Snoqualmie. This coffee house is a great representation of the community and often features local artists and musicians. Grab a coffee and a snack before heading along to your next stop.

This is a 2,018-acre preserve located in the Wenatchee Mountains. It is also home to the largest known concentrations of two interesting plants: the Wenatchee larkspur and also the Wenatchee Mountains checker-mallow. In late spring, you are liable to see some lovely wildflowers. You will need a Discover Pass to enter this site.
