    Closely to the open air museum, you will find a wartime museum definitely worth exploring. Here you get to see the bunkers that were used during the WW2 and you will learn about the Antwerp’s participation during this time.
    A fascinating history and to actually walk through the corridors where soldiers would hide and sleep, it’s quite a humbling experience. The only downside is that all signs are in Dutch and opening times are very restricted, so it will help to do some research in advance to make the most of this site.
