One of Chile's most delicious exports is its wine. This round-trip route will take you down one of the essential valleys related to Chilean wine and one of the oldest wine routes in the country; The Colchagua Valley.
You’ll spend four incredible days amid beautiful landscapes, travel down the “Ruta del Vino,” the oldest wine route in the country, and stop through several wineries, from large to small boutiques, and learn about the production of wine. The region produces some of Chile's best red wines, primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, and Syrah.
Traditions run deep in the O'Higgins Region of Chile, and the Colchagua Valley is surrounded by activities related to agriculture and the “huaso” way of life. Also known as the Chilean cowboy, the Chilean takes pride in its cultural traditions and welcomes you to explore this region and discover everything it offers.
This route can be explored year-round, but the best times to explore this route are from September to November or February to April. During March, you’ll find several harvest festivals that are particularly fun for those who seek to see special activities.
