Jorquera, the Castle of Chinchilla and the Main Square of Alcaraz.

The second day of the route begins bordering the canyon of the Jucar River until reaching Jorquera. You have to stop at the viewpoint to observe this village that seems to be stopped in time at the top of the ravine.
In the vicinity of Albacete, one of the stops will be in Chinchilla de Montearagón, the village where the castle sits on top. There will be time to visit its ancient walled gates and cave houses.
The last stop of the day is in Alcaraz, where sites such as the castle, the aqueduct and the charming main square with its Tardón tower welcome you.

Cave houses can be found in several places in the province of Albacete. In addition to those already seen in Alcala del Jucar, these are dug out of the rock of the mountain with their brown doors painted in white and where the tall chimney stands out.
Their origins date back to the Arab period, but they have also had different uses over time. It is not possible to enter to see inside, but they are very photogenic.
In the streets around the caves there is parking space for cars and even a place for motorhomes.
