The Ebro Delta
On the second day of this itinerary, you'll spend most of your day exploring the beautiful natural scenery of the Ebro Delta. This is one of the largest areas of wetland in the Mediterranean region, with a whole host of unique flora and fauna to see during your explorations. Then, you'll begin the drive back to Barcelona, with a stop at a beach and a scenic lookout before dinner in Segur de Calafell.

Get an early start from your hotel, as you've got a big day of exploring to do before heading back to Barcelona in the evening. You'll immediately drive into the Ebro Delta park, where the river meets the Mediterranean. This small pond near the inlet is a highlight, with plenty of birdlife to enjoy (including flamingos!) and some beautiful walks to take around the water and along the unspoiled beach.

After an introduction to some of the natural beauty in the area, you'll make your way into the area's main town, Deltebre. There's plenty of parking to be had, after which you'll make your way to this central bridge that offers stunning views over the river. A promenade also runs east along the river, the ideal spot for a morning stroll.
