You will be able to arrive with your boat at the tourist port of Taranto, or from the airport of Brindisi which is closer than the airport of Bari. It will be exceptional to be able to see the island on which stands the old town and the Aragonese Castle. If you're lucky you'll be able to see the Ponte Girevole (swing bridge) that connects the remaining nineteenth-century city in action (if there is the event is reported on the web) while to your left remains the small port of the fishermen who weave their nets.

Boat trip to the Cheradi and waterfall in the Riggio's Ravine

Few people know the Cheradi islands near Taranto, consisting of the island of San Pietro on which you can spend a few hours quietly in the sun, and the island of San Paolo with its Pygmy Lighthouse! Already the name says a lot about its greatness! And the Fort de Laclos, you'll find out on which of the two islands it is located! After a typical fish lunch, you can drive to the Gravina di Riggio and admire the waterfall! It may not be there in summer, so its visit is recommended in spring.
