Once you're in the park, you'll walk about 0.8 miles along a paved trail that showcases breathtaking views of the base of the falls. There are two options to get to the top; walk the 224 steps or take the elevator to the observation point. For those who want to continue exploring, there are several short trails that you can do. The first is called the Midnight falls loop hike which will take you to another small waterfall that will take you a total of 30 minutes. If you want to continue walking, continue this trail until you reach the intersection for Inspiration Point, the second trail that will lead you to incredible views of the Great Plains.
