This little town with pastel-colored homes serves as Salina's second port.
Your ferry leaves at 12.20 from Rinella and arrives at 14.10 in Milazzo. The trip lasts 1h 50m.

Parking Historical Center Dafne Cefalù
Beautiful Cefalù is located on a spit of land between the sea and a massive promontory towering above.
In the past, the little fishing town wanted to protect itself against storms so it built large defensive stone walls. Since it locked its doors to the sea, present-day resorts are located on each side of the town, but not inside it, allowing Cefalù to keep its medieval flavor.
Trivia: This ancient town's squares, streets, and churches are so picture-perfect that filmmaker Giuseppe Tornatore opted to stage scenes of his beloved film Cinema Paradiso in Cefalù.

Duomo di Cefalù
History
After a rough voyage, Norman King Roger II sought refuge on Cefalù’s safe beach. In gratitude, he commissioned the cathedral here.
Apart from the huge, fortress-like facade, with twin towers joined by double arches, the Cefalù Duomo also boasts the earliest and best preserved Sicilian church mosaics, dating from 1148.
The Cefalù Cathedral is open daily, from 8 m to 12.45 pm, then from 3.50 to 5.45 pm. Start your visit inside because you don't have a lot of time until it closes for the day.
