Going to Coimbra

After a busy sightseeing tour of ancient Coimbra it is worth having lunch at the Nacional Restaurant. The institution is characterized by a wide variety of meat dishes and a good wine list. Here you can always relax and rely on the staff, who are always attentive to visitors. The restaurant is closed on Sundays and on other days from 15.00 to 19.00 it is closed for a break.

The market is an integral part of shopping in Coimbra, because natural products, fruits, vegetables, dried fruits, cheeses and other delicacies are some of the best acquisitions that can await you in this town. You can also find a couple of stores here with other traditional goods of the region. Every day except Sundays, from 7:30 to 7 p.m., you can have a fruitful eco-shopping experience here.

If you are interested in books or postcards, and you like an unusual and original atmosphere of the room - go for a cup of coffee in the bookstore-café Almedina. Here you will find a wide variety of literature and a pleasant atmosphere.

It's time to go back to Viseu. For a relaxing evening, you can go to the small bar Urban Chic. The establishment is open from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. every day. Here they serve excellent breakfasts with good and invigorating coffee, and at night they create a relaxing atmosphere, which is complemented by a good bar menu.

It's nice to be back at the hotel after such a busy day, but don't forget that it's a good idea to get ready to leave the hotel the next day by packing your bags and checking if you've forgotten to pack your things and shopping.
