Journey to natural places of the Leningrad region

The Montrepo Park is the most picturesque natural corner of Vyborg, which admired great artists, poets and even Russian emperors for its beauty. Today it is a museum-reserve, where you will find not only the unique nature of the Karelian Isthmus, but also architectural sights built by great creators. In translation from French the name of the park is translated as "my peace". And indeed, it is here, among coniferous forests, mirror lakes and steep cliffs, that you can relax not only in body but also in soul.

Then we will go to lunch at the restaurant "Slavic Eating". The menu includes such native Russian dishes as solyanka, borsch, harcho, pancakes, various pastries, kvass. Prices here are more than acceptable, and the pleasant and cozy atmosphere will please you.

The Lietlahti Nature and Ethnographic Park is a place that boasts a natural treasure and historical and even sports attractions.
Here you will see ruins of old villages, many lakes, boulders and springs. Among other things, this place attracts climbers, as there are several routes of varying difficulty for climbing.
To get acquainted with the park it is easier to move along specially laid out ecological paths. If you are lucky and you meet a glade with mushrooms and berries along the way, you can safely collect prey, as the rules of the park allow it.

The next place of our trip will be Lake Sukhodolsk, but first we need to go to the nearest shop for groceries, so we can have dinner right on the lake shore.

Lake Sukhodolsk is one of the most ecologically clean natural places on the Karelian Isthmus, surrounded by relict forest. A lot of historical events took place here, that is why some historical monuments are still preserved not far from the lake. For example, a complex of structures from the Stone Age, as well as the remains of military fortifications from the Great Patriotic War.
But, of course, the main reason for the love of this place among both locals and tourists is clean water, comfortable beach and forest air. Here you can have a small picnic, swim, warm up on the beach under the rays of the setting sun, and if you want you can go fishing.
