Spend the morning exploring one of Chicago's famed museums. We recommend The Art Institute, but you could also check out the Field Museum or the Shedd Aquarium nearby depending on your interests. Take the metro over to Wrigley Field for a 1 o'clock Cubs game. Experience the historic stadium, eat Chicago's famous hot dogs for lunch, and cheer on one of the most famous teams in the league. A game here is fun for all, but if you'd prefer a different excursion, you could also head over to the Lincoln Park Zoo, one of the oldest and most established zoos in the country, which is in the same area of Lincoln Park.

Grab an early dinner at Girl & The Goat, a hot spot in the Randolph Restaurant Corridor that serves up cherished small plates with a family-style intent. Founded by Stephanie Izard, Top Chef's season 4 winner, this eatery has bold flavors and a charming menu.

Pick your car up from the hotel valet parking and drive out to your last excursion before heading back home.

Park here for an hour time slot so you are close to the Willis Tower Skydeck, and you can easily scoot out of the city when you are finished.

You will get views extending to four Midwest states while more than 1,300 feet up and 103 floors up in the air. The views don't get much better than this—the Willis Tower is an iconic skyscraper and the eighth-tallest building in the world.
