    • Enjoy a day where the hardest choice is which beach you liked the most.
    • Get lost in your favourite book podcast or playlist in a secluded, spectacular bay.
    • Relish in a fine-dining Italian dinner experience overlooking the Tyrrhenian sea.
Palermo is a city not quite like anywhere else in the world. It's got Italian charm, history and culture, but it all comes with the relaxed atmosphere of an island lifestyle. It is a pretty big city though, and some of the best beaches are a short drive out of Palermo, which is why it makes for the perfect day trip to go on a hunt for the most beautiful beaches. Keep in mind that during the months of December to January, the weather is much colder than the rest of the year, so a beach route might not be the best choice, but you check out one of our other one-day routes from Palermo.
Get started early after breakfast and have a dip on the comfortable, long and sandy shores of Mondello Beach. You'll go on to explore the scenery and sights in a nearby nature reserve, helping you build up a strong appetite for a lovely Italian lunch. You'll hit two more beaches, beautiful in their own unique way and head for a drink at a lounge overlooking the gorgeous turquoise water.
At the end of the day, you'll top off a nourishing 12 hours with a high-class dinner in a magical building. Get your hat, towel and sunnies ready, your mind, nobody and soul are about to be renewed!
