    Château de Saint-Aubin-du-Cormier

Saint-Aubin-du-Cormier is positioned 18 miles (29 km) northeast of Rennes. The Battle of Saint-Aubin-du-Cormier in 1488, which ended the guerre folle between the French king and rebelling feudal aristocracy, is something that’s most remembered about the region.
The rebels fought to defend the independence of the local feudal system and oppose the centralization of power in Paris. A unified French state was made possible by the defeat of the combined rebel armies.
Neo-Romanesque architecture was extremely popular during the period, and Saint-church Malo's was constructed from granite and sandstone. The seventeenth-century manor La Mottais, which was reconstructed in the nineteenth century and has a well and an oven, is also well worth visiting.

    Musée Christian Dior

Christian Dior's birthplace, Villa Les Rhumbs, in Granville, Lower Normandy, was converted into a museum on June 22, 1988, honoring his life and creations. One of the few early 20th-century "artists' gardens" still standing today is the garden Madeleine Dior, the couturier's mother, constructed in English. The museum hosts themed exhibits; the first one, which featured 50 models worn by actresses including Olivia de Havilland, Ava Gardner, Elizabeth Taylor, and Marlene Dietrich, was devoted to women who had been "dressed" by Dior.
A sizable garden surrounds the museum, which is perched on top of a rock overlooking the Anglo-Norman islands near the city's entrance. The gardens are maintained in excellent condition and have tulips in full bloom. Even when the museum is closed, the public is welcome to visit the gardens for free. There is a cafe/snack bar, and the area is simple to navigate. Dogs are not allowed in the park, and there is street parking available.
Opening and Closing time: The museum is open from Monday to Sunday from 10 am to 6.30 pm. The garden can be visited 24 hours.
