Along the Pink Granite Coast

You should do a boat tour from Perros Guirec to visit the seven islands, they are protected and you will be able to see lots of seabirds. You can book your boat trip with this company in advance. Morning and evening are a must to see even more birds. It is a very pleasant boat excursion.

The beach of Trestrignel is one of the best beaches of Perros Guirec. It is huge and great to have a walk or a swim.

The beach of Trestraou is the most famous and most busy one in high season in Perros Guirec. So you can check both and see which one you prefer between Tretraou and Trestrignel. You can also practice a lot of watersports and windsports.

Have lunch right by the beach of Trestraou at l'Embarcadère. Seafood is a must, but you will find different options.

"Sentiers des douaniers" in the pink granite coast is the best walking path in the area. Don't miss it. You can walk until Perros Guirec and back in 3 hours approximately but you don't have to walk that much. In the beginning of the path, you get the best views already but the whole hike has beautiful scenery.

This is a nice little house on the walking path along the coast.

This is the main lighthouse of the pink granite coast and it is pretty much the postcard picture perfect of the area. Even if you don't walk the whole way, at least come until here.

And this is the ending point of the "sentiers des douaniers", the walking path of the pink granite coast. You can also leave your car here and start from here if you are planning to do the whole walk until Ploumanach and back. If you are not planning to walk much then you should definitely start from the beach of Saint Guirec as it has the best viewpoints.

This beach was the starting point of our walk to see the pink granite coast as its best. There is a famous oratory of Saint Guirec, the Saint that gave its name to the city. You can now enjoy the beach itself or just pick up your car to keep on going with the route.

In Tregastel, you can visit this interesting aquarium. It was built inside cave homes under big rocks of pink granite. On top of it, there is a statue of Christ that the locals call Eternal father. So the structure itself is very interesting. Inside, you will see fauna and flora of the area. More information on their website.

This beach which is the beach of the aquarium pretty much is worth visiting. Here again, you will see lots of rocks of pink granite, but with weird shapes of animals mostly and all of what your imagination can see.

Have a nice dinner at this restaurant before going back to Rennes.
