From Paimpol to Brehat Island

Walk around the port and old town of Paimpol with Brittany old style houses and the market square.

Leave the car here on the parking lot and take the boat to go visit the beautiful island of Brehat. You have the option to make just the crossing or also the tour of the island by boat. Depending on your fitness level, you can choose to spend more time on the boat to get different views of the island and spend less time on the island or you can choose to hike the whole island. The boat will drop you here on Brehat island. The island is best visited on foot if you like to walk, but you can also rent a bicycle.

You can choose to visit the Brehat island by foot or on a bicycle. You can walk as mush or as little as you want. The cathedral of Treguier is a masterpiece of Brittany religious architecture. It was built in the XIVth century. Go inside the cathedral, and you will be impressed. The cloister in gothical style is beautiful. Walk around the small streets around the cathedral to visit the old town of Treguier.

For dinner, have one or two delicious crepes. Crepes are the famous specialty from Brittany. You can choose the ingredients you like inside, one salty one and one sweet one for dessert is just perfect with a glass of local apple cider.
