    French Favourites: Exploring the Medieval Wine Towns of Riquewihr and Ribeauvillé

    Spare a day for one of France's most beautiful villages. Riquewihr claims that name because of its tall churches, half-timber houses and position amongst the hills. On the way, you'll stop in the commune of Barr and get to explore some French nature and gorgeous views of the landscape. Before heading back, you'll also check out Ribeauvillé's endless vineyards and have wine-tasting paired with a delicious dinner.

    Winstub Rabseppi Stebel

    For dinner, head to Saint-Hippolyte, another nearby town, but this one's a little more serious about their wine. Dinner will be at a winstub, so before you eat, you can have a separate wine tasting to enjoy the fermented fruit of the region and some locally informed guidance on the wines.
    The restaurant is located within the winery, and you'll either r have a magical table inside the cottage or look out at the magnificent garden. The food is fantastic here too, and you'll have a lot so fine-dining French cuisine to choose from.
