In the morning, take a walk along the Savannah Riverside area to shop for local items, such as bee products, pralines, chocolates, cookies, and Georgia souvenirs. The cobblestone streets are bustling through the day and night, and there are plenty of restaurants to grab coffee or breakfast too. If you like, you can also hop on the Georgia Queen to take a cruise along the river.

Just outside the city, stop to visit one of America’s most beautiful cemeteries, inspired by Southern Victorian architecture. You can walk through over 100 acres of tree-lined pathways and admire its unique sculpture and architecture before moving on to your next destination.
The cemetery is open to the public daily from 8am-5pm.

Beaufort County is one of the rare spots in the world where you can watch hundreds of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, exhibiting a behavior called “dolphin strand feeding,” where they launch themselves out of the water to eat. This afternoon, take a dolphin tour with a local naturalist and explore the sandbars for the playful creatures.

After your cruise, explore downtown historic Bluffton. The Heyward House Museum on Boundary Street is a good starting point from where you can walk to the many art galleries, cafes, and shops located along Calhoun Street.
The museum is open from 10am-5pm on Monday-Friday, and 10am-4pm on Saturday.
