    Bentheim Castle

    After parking, walk to Bentheim Castle which is just a few hundred metres from your car.
    This medieval castle is a landmark standing on an outcrop of Bentheim sandstone on a hill which was the same rock that was used to build it. Its position will provide you with an excellent view of the land around you - the Münsterland region and Bad Bentheim. The castle grounds are magnificent and scenic enough to afford you opportunities to capture beautiful pictures.
