    • Get to know magical villages surrounded by mountains such as Frias and Orbaneja del Castillo.
    • Contemplate the views of the Ebro river gorge from an amazing viewpoint.
    • Taste the local gastronomy, such as black pudding or meat cooked in a wood oven.
The north of the province of Burgos is characterized by its mountains with forests, riverbeds that run through this landscape and form canyons and waterfalls. In this natural environment, medieval villages are nestled in the valleys and castles perched on the rocky heights that served as a defense centuries ago.
During the two-day route you will come across some surprises worth admiring: houses hanging over the cliffs, castles that have been transformed into viewpoints of the surroundings, waterfalls in the middle of the villages and natural pools left by nature where you can even bathe. You won't want to miss it!
As if this were not enough, the gastronomy of the area invites you to taste typical dishes starting with the emblem of the villages of the north of Burgos, its black pudding.
