After your morning coffee, start your day with the mighty Huka Falls. Just before the falls, the Waikato River flows into a shallow ravine made of hard volcanic rock, which creates the effect of a narrow fire hose nozzle. Walk from the parking lot near Huka Falls along the path with observation decks to the bridge over the top of the waterfall, immerse yourself in the roar of its sound, and feel all its power.

The thermal wonderland of Waiotapu impresses with its incredible colors. Walk along the paths of the parks between unique geothermal lakes and geysers created by thousands of years of geothermal activity.
My advice is to skip the Lady Knox Geyser "show" at 10:15 which draws crowds, and doesn't happen naturally but is activated by a park worker. Just take a walk in the park, and enjoy the awe-inspiring views of the famous Champagne Lake in a floating misty haze and unreal poisonous Devil's Bath.

In total there are five mineral hot pools with different water temperatures, as well as a font with ice water. You can move between the pools and then relax in the heated sunbeds.
