Head west on I-78 West and I-76 West for almost 5 hours. You'll be driving through rural Pennsylvania and pass through Harrisburg, among other towns. Arrive at architect Frank Lloyd Wright's most celebrated masterpiece in Mill Run, Pennsylvania in time to have lunch at the farm-to-table Falling Water Cafe before a guided tour of the home at 3pm, which lasts an hour.
The home is famous for the way in which it blends with the landscape perfectly. It is also unique for being built partly over a gushing waterfall. Day tours are not available. Be sure to book your tour ahead of your visit.

Arrive in Pittsburgh just after rush hour and check in at your hotel and freshen up. Use the valet parking for the sake of convenience. Valet parking is available for $38 per night, and valet hours are 7am-11pm.

If not, see any number of other performing arts events at Benedum, a theater and concert hall at the center of Pittsburgh's Cultural District built in 1928 as the Stanley Theatre, then renovated and reopened as the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts in 1987.
