Park Monrepo is a great place to find inner harmony and unity with nature, not without reason, its name is translated from French as "my peace".
The landscape of the park looks very unusual: sprawling pine trees, granite rocks, a mirror-like water surface and architectural images of different eras lost among all this beauty.

Väinämäinen - the famous rune-singer, the hero of the Karelian mythical epic Kalevala. The character's sculpture was first erected in a granite gorge at the beginning of the 19th century, and it looked more like a statue of an ancient god than a hero of northern legends. In 1871 Väinämäinen appeared in a more canonical image, but the original sculpture was badly damaged during the Second World War, and today there is a carefully reconstructed reproduction in its place.

Another name for the Witch's Cave is the cave of wish fulfillment. It is said that if you make a wish here, it will definitely come true. It's worth checking out!

You can have lunch after the walk at the Russian cuisine restaurant "Russky Dvor". The restaurant is located in a historical building from the times of Peter the Great and offers its guests dishes of Russian cuisine cooked according to old recipes.
The menu, which practically does not deviate from the classics and strictly follows the traditions of Russian cuisine, is the hallmark of the restaurant. Tourists especially praise the local cod with beans in white sauce, as well as the fresh cranberry morsel.

Next stop is Vyborg Castle, the city's calling card. It was built by the Swedes at the beginning of the 13th century, during the Third Crusade. During its centuries-long history the castle has often been the object of military battles, partially destroyed and rebuilt again. During the extensive reconstruction in the late 19th century, the appearance of the main tower of the castle, named after St. Olaf, was changed.
Today the castle houses a museum where you can learn about the history of Vyborg from the Middle Ages to the Soviet period, view archaeological finds and even visit a reconstructed torture chamber.
The museum welcomes guests from 10 to 18; Day off - Monday. The museum ticket office is open from 9:50 to 17:15.

The first Russian tsar to climb St. Olaf's Tower was Peter the Great. The tower is currently under restoration (scheduled to last until January 2022), so it can only be viewed from the outside.

The Old Town Hall Square is the oldest square in the city. It is believed that the decree of King Eric of Pomerania granting Vyborg city status was read here.

Before dinner, visit one of the halls belonging to the Hermitage in Vyborg. There are exhibitions of photographs, paintings, drawings and works of arts and crafts.
Usual opening hours are from 11:00 to 19:00 (without days off). From 8 December 2020 the gallery opening hours are from 12.00 to 17.00. Organized access to the exhibition halls is limited to 5 people. Free entrance. The presence of masks is obligatory. Check up-to-date information before visiting on the website.

Today St. Hyacinth's Church, or as it is also called, the Knight's House, is a part of Vyborg Museum and a favorite place for photo shoots.
If you want to go inside, the opening hours are as follows: Monday - Wednesday: day off; Thursday - Sunday: 10.00-18.00.

Bürger House is said to be the oldest building in Vyborg. Today there is a souvenir shop where you can buy not only postcards and magnets, but also the famous Vyborg pretzel.
Souvenir shopping is planned later today, but for now you can walk by and take pictures of the unusual building.

Stop and see Saints Peter and Paul Church - the only surviving Lutheran church in Vyborg.
