Leningrad region's lakes

Travelling by car through the Leningrad Region, it was simply impossible to pass by the beaches of the Gulf of Finland and not to stop at this amazing place. As it turned out, it's pleasant not only to swim and sunbathe here, but also to stroll, admiring the horizon.

One of the largest natural objects in the Leningrad region can be called the Lindulivskaia Roshcha reserve. That's where we went right after the beach. The grove itself is on the list of objects protected by UNESCO. Away from the city bustle, we spent an hour here with a small walk along the paths along the massive plantations of Siberian Larch.

After a long walk in the fresh air we headed towards Priozersk, and on the way we decided to stop for lunch at a restaurant complex called Davinci. The atmosphere there is quite cozy and hospitable. The menu was full of a variety of meat dishes, of which the steak with vegetables and shashlik were our favorites.

Not far from Lake Ladoga there is a relatively small Snetkovskoye. On its shores, surrounded by forest, there is a beach, but we decided not to swim, but to take a little walk along the shore along the forest paths.

Isn't it time to stop on vacation? You can warm up, fill up and buy goods on the way at Gazpromneft's filling stations.

After the walk by the lake we went to Priozersk for dinner. Our first stop here was the cozy restaurant of the Kexholm hotel. The menu was quite varied, our choice was kebab with vegetables and salads with seafood.

The first day of the trip was very busy, so immediately after dinner we went to rest at the hotel. Tomorrow we also had many plans, among them a trip to the beach, as well as a short walk along the shore of Lake Ladoga.
