Ostrich Farm, Super Surf, Red Caves

In the morning we will go to the Lion Ostrich Farm. Here free-range guinea fowl, pheasants and, of course, African ostriches live. You can feed birds from your hands and take pictures with them. Every 2 hours from 10:00 a.m. the farm offers educational tours, but you can also visit the park without a guide.

Not far from the ostrich farm, on the shore of Lake Cheremenets there is a camping site called "North Patmos". Here we go for sup-surfing. Mastering a board on the lake surface will not be difficult, and the scenery will charmingly melt your heart. 1 hour rent costs 300 rubles (+ deposit). Alternatively, you can ride a boat or a bicycle.

For lunch, stop by Café Terrazza. Delicious food, fragrant coffee, panoramic view from the window and charming staff have conquered more than one local and tourist.

The Oredezhskie (or Borschevskie) caves are probably the most unusual sight in the Luga region. The red vaults and multicolored patterns on the walls are captivatingly beautiful. The caves are of artificial origin - quartz sand for glassware was once mined here. The length of the passages is short, so it is difficult to get lost here.
Be as careful as possible, be sure to bring flashlights and avoid descending into the caves after the rains.

On the way you will see the memorial "Partisan Glory" - an impressive sculptural composition 20 meters high. Part of the composition are 13 granite boulders with inscriptions dedicated to the partisan brigades that fought in the Leningrad region.

Let's have dinner in the Gatchina district, in the cafe of oriental cuisine "Sim-Sim". The service, the cuisine, the homemade wine - everything is top-notch here. I recommend trying "Djiz-Byz", a traditional Azerbaijani roast made of by-products, potatoes and onions.
