Exploring the Shores of Loch Lomond and The Falls of Falloch

Balloch Park is the first stop on the route because it's a wonderful introduction to Loch Lomond. As a gorgeous spot where the shores of the gigantic loch meet the land, spend some time walking around the park and gazing into the enchanting waters.
Before hopping back in the car get a glimpse of the castle and imagine the knights using the loch in medieval times for a historical flashback!

After taking in some of the natural wonders of the area, stop into SEA LIFE - an aquarium hosted in a castle-like tower. It features aquatic life that fits the scene of the vast loch, with a walk-through underwater tunnel and Scotland's largest shark tank.

Time for a scenic lunch looking over Loch Lomond. The Boat House offers high-quality food and features traditional Scottish meals, fresh and light bites and drinks to help you slow down and take in the serenity.

Leaving Balloch Park area, Loch Lomond Seaplanes offers a unique experience where you can get a glimpse of seaplanes taking off and landing if your timing is right! If not, it's still a beautiful spot for another vantage point over the enchanting Loch Lomond and the surrounding mountains.

Park your car on the A28 roadside and head to a scenic landscape with some modern environmental art.

After a lovely lunch and a walk to help it settle, it's time for one of the most exciting sights in the whole national park. Take a journey north to arrive at the Falls of Falloch and follow the sounds of tricking water until you stumble upon these beautiful falls. Grab a book, absorb the moment and reflect on everything good in the world in this magnificent hideaway.

For dinner, head to Slanj Restaurant, another great eatery with breathtaking views, this time of the greenery of the national park - and at this time of day, you might get to experience it by moonlight depending on the season. They serve traditional Scottish and British food as well as a variety of international dishes so you'll always find something that appeals to your appetite.

Before getting to sleep, make a nice stroll in the village of Arrochar, make sure to walk down to Loch Long and see the Old Arrochar Pier.
