To visit Tula and not to meet a gingerbread would be wrong, so today your first stop is a monument to the Tula gingerbread. The gingerbread has a date of 1685. It's believed that that's when this famous delicacy was born.

There are many monuments in the park, in fact, they can be used to tell most of the history of Russia.

The horseshoe of happiness symbolizes the same horseshoe with which the flea was horsed, only slightly different sizes. The horseshoe is a symbol of happiness of the family hearth, not only the Tula people, but also the whole country.

The Levsha monument is a monument to the legendary Tula master, the hero said Nikolai Leskov. Here you can see all the pride of the inhabitants of Tula at the moment when the flea was finally horseshoe.

The Tula Kremlin is a monument of architecture of the XVI century. For several centuries it defended the southern borders of the Russian state and never gave in to the enemy. You can order the excursion in advance on site or take a walk in the Kremlin by yourself. Museums of the Kremlin open daily at 10 am.

Park your car by the Kremlin and walk 2 minutes to the restaurant. Dine in the historical place with traditional Russian dishes.

Zaraisky Kremlin is associated with Dmitry Pozharsky, who was the voivode of Zaraisk during the Time of Troubles. It is not as big as the Tula one, however it has no less historical value.
The Kremlin is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The museum is open daily from 9:00 to 18:00.
Some of the Kremlin's exhibits are now temporarily closed, but it is definitely worth a look at least from the outside: it is beautiful.

In the house-museum you can see how young Esenin grew up and where he got the ideas of his magic lyrics. Here you can see real things of that time: a chest in which Esenin kept his favorite books, a real Russian stove, a samovar and even a letter of commendation from school.
The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, but the register closes at 5 p.m. You can order the excursion in advance by contacting the official site.
