Welcome to Chinchon, one of the most beautiful towns in the Madrid region. You are in the main square, where you can admire the old traditional architecture that makes this place famous: The Castilian arcade square. You can count a total of 234 balconies! This clock tower was part of an old church that disappeared, sometime after that another church was built, but it was not attached to the tower, so the people in the village said that they have a tower without church and a church without a tower. The square and the garden around is a peaceful and lovely place.

This viewpoint is one of the most beautiful in Chinchon, from here you have a panoramic view of the main square and the castle. All the clay roof tiles and white houses give charm to this village, and you can appreciate it very well from here.

It is time for a break, and you can enjoy here a glass of wine in this traditional family winery. They produce wine since 1870!

Your next stop is this Poor Clare nun's convent, known for its shortbread, muffins, and cookies, that the nuns elaborate on. You can buy this traditional sweetness from them.

This medieval castle is in ruins, as is the abandoned village that was once protected by the castle. But it is exactly that what makes so special this place. Also, worth the visit because the views that you have from this point are simply amazing.

This famous garden was created by Emperor Carlos V. It is full of fountains, sculptures, and pavilions. You will also enjoy the company of some wild animals like squirrels, peacocks, ducks, and birds. Enjoy this peaceful place before continuing with your trip.

Inside the Price's Gardens is this small museum with examples of the typical royal riverboats. The boats are just stunning, full of golden decorations and highly ornamented. You can visit the old lake jetty too.

One of the national treasures is this Royal Palace, part of the UNESCO World Heritage. With a very interesting history and full of art, it is a remarkable visit that you can not miss in Aranjuez. The Palace has been the summer palace of the Spanish monarchy for centuries.
