On your way to the monastery, make a stop in a village called Rozhdestvo to visit this dilapidated but recovering church.

Near Naro-Fominsk there is Zosima hermitage. The hermitage was founded by St. Zosima in 1826, and until 1918 the nunnery was a refuge for the Orthodox.
Nowadays here you can see such shrines as the church of St. John the Baptist by the oldest manor Atheneevo. And here you can also have a look at the famous and mysterious house with toys, located near the hermitage.

Before your next outdoor walk, you can stop for lunch at a well-known burger joint.

The last stop for the walk today is the abandoned Petrovskoye-Alabino estate. The area is open and easily accessible in winter. Here you can take atmospheric photos and enjoy the silence until sunset.

You can stay overnight in a cozy hotel in Krasnoznamensk if you don't want to go back to Moscow. Leave the car and go for dinner.

Highly rated among the locals, tasty burgers, and there are beers - a great atmosphere to end today's trip.
