The highest points of many US states are marked by some kind of monument. In New Jersey, it's a tall tower that offers views for dozens of miles in fine weather.
You can climb the monument by going up 291 steps on weekends and holidays from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. from May 30 to October 10, depending on weather conditions.
Even if you don't manage to climb to the very top, the views from the observation deck at the foot of the tower will be mesmerizing.

Luna Parc is an amazing building, where both outside and inside you seem to be in a fairy tale. Creating this house, the artist Ricky Boscarino was inspired by the works of such great masters as Klimt, Gaudi, and Hundertwasser. Their ideas were reinterpreted and recreated in the forest hinterland. Boscarino still lives here and sometimes hosts receptions for guests.
Please note: Luna Parc is not always open to the public. You need to call +19739482160 and make an appointment at least two weeks in advance. If the place is full, go straight to the next stop.

Are you ready for a thrill? Then you've come to the right place! The movies from the ""Friday the 13th"" series were filmed in this camp, and the local Sand Pond played the role of Crystal Lake. So put on your hockey mask, grab your machete (Stop! Don't do it!), and let's go chase Jason Voorhees.
This is still an active Boy Scout camp. And the kids who come to this particular camp probably have strong nerves.
Be sure to register on the website to sign up for the excursion. You have to start planning your trip with that date in mind. The registration form for the excursion can be found via this link.

    Waterloo Village Historic Site

    Open Details
The rise of Waterloo Village occurred in the middle of the 19th century. An important shipping canal ran through the village and was a part of the canal system that carried coal from Pennsylvania to New York. Towards the end of the 19th century, the canals lost to competition from the railways, and the village gradually fell into decay and was abandoned.
However, since 1967, a revival of the Waterloo village has begun as a result of tourism.
Waterloo now has about 20 beautifully restored buildings including some residential buildings, the smithy, the mill, the pottery workshop, the church, the shop, and others. The museum will allow you to plunge into the daily life of an industrial town from two centuries ago. You'll see residents in old clothes and will be able to appreciate the professionalism of artisans and take a ride in a carriage or boat along the canal.
