Interesting museums of Kaluga region

In the morning go to the museum-preserve "Polotnyanyy Zavod" on the territory of the former manor of the Goncharovs. The museum's main exhibition is located on the first floor of the three-storey Goncharovs' house. The ground floor is the village library, and the third floor is the children's art school named after N. N. Goncharova.
Mode of operation: Tuesday through Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Day off - Monday; sanitary day - last Wednesday of the month.

Afterwards, appreciate another attraction of the village of Polotnyanyy Zavod - the Buseon Paper Museum. You will be told and shown how paper is made, and you will have a master class where you can assemble your own notebook or cast a sheet of paper, taste sugar and waffle paper.
Wednesday through Sunday, the museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday are weekends.

For lunch you can visit the Petrovskie Parusa restaurant, located in a picturesque place next to a pine forest and the picturesque Sukhodrev River. The menu offers dishes to suit all tastes - from original to classic.

Next stop is Maloyaroslavets, where every tourist must go to the War and History Museum of 1812 to learn the details of the battle between the Russian army and Napoleon's army for the road to Kaluga.
