Knights' castles, Pravdinskaya hydroelectric power station, local history museum and trampolines

The main attraction of Bagrationovsk is the forburg of the castle of Preisisch-Eylau, which traces its history back to 1325. It was an abode for priests and knights, and also had a military function. The castle of the Order has only partially survived. The forge once housed the household quarters: a brewery, mill, stables, storehouse and living quarters for servants and soldiers. There is no access to the inside, but a wander around the old building and the picturesque surroundings is a must.

Pravdinskaya HPP-3 on the Lava River is almost 100 years old! The place is incredibly atmospheric and is a great place to walk with kids.

Half an hour's drive and you're in Zheleznodorozhny, where another half-destroyed castle of the Teutonic Knights, Gerdauen, is located. It was built in 1315 and survives in a dilapidated state.
Only the gate, ruins of the western wing and rebuilt well with stables are left of the castle. In spite of this, the building impresses with its beauty and grandeur, and its surroundings are perfect for a walk.

Near the castle there is a cozy cafe "The Old Mill", where you can eat and get warm. Here you can order a kebab and a cup of natural coffee, and your kids will love the tender cottage cheese pie. Please note that the cafe is closed on Mondays.

Gusev Historical and Local History Museum named after A. M. Ivanov. A. M. Ivanov Museum is a good place for family vacations. Archaeological collection, exhibits of pre-war history of the region, historical costumes - much of what you see will be a real discovery not only for your children, but also for you.

The trampoline arena "4jump" is ideal for a fun pastime. The room is small, but it is quite realistic to occupy a child here for an hour. Bouncing on trampolines - one pleasure, and the most dexterous climb the rope to the ceiling and land straight from there in the soft foam pit. Don't worry: before going out each guest is briefed and warmed up. You'll need comfortable workout clothes, socks or flip-flops. On weekdays the center works from 11:00 to 22:00, on weekends it opens an hour earlier. Before visiting, it is best to call the administrators at website.
