For this final day of the trip we have squeezed in some amazing events for your family's enjoyment. Leave Magdeburg around 10:00 after some breakfast and make your way to Brandenburg. In this lovely city stop by for some Germany cuisine in Schweineschnäuzchen, before driving on to the breathtaking Sanssouci Picture Gallery. After that it's time to give your family an unforgettable adventure with the amazing Tropical Islands, essentially a holiday to the other side of the world contained in this German amusement park. After watching your family have the time of their lives, either eat dinner in the amusement park or drive back to Leipzig stopping by at the superb BlauHaus along the way. We are certain that this final day of the trip will leave your family exhausted but with huge smiles on their faces!

After an hour of driving it's time for brunch at this authentic German restaurant. With a beautiful wooden interior and delightful outdoor section, Schweineschnäuzchen is known for its large portion sizes and delicious pork that the whole family will love. This place is great for breakfasts or lunches so whichever you arrive in time for, you will be very satisfied.

Before the ecstatic joy of the Tropical Islands (see later), it will be nice to enjoy a calm and peaceful stroll through this Picture Gallery and see some of the best classical art on display in the world. This will be a cultural education for your children that they won't forget and a peaceful time for you with your loved ones.

Tropical Islands

When you think of palm trees, tropical weather and swimming in lagoons, Germany probably isn't the first country that comes to mind. Well prepare to be amazed because the Tropical Islands outside of Berlin has all of that. This hotel/amusement park is a must for families and an experience your children will never forget! The temperature is constantly at a tropical 30 degrees, and the activities are endless. The children will adore the water slides, the adventure playground and the tropical animals on display. You and your spouse will love the Thai massage services, relaxing by the huge artificial beach and playing the mini golf. We've made this event two hours and included a dinner afterwards but if you're all having a great time here feel free to skip the dinner 'event' and stay at this place for longer as there are great restaurants in the Tropical Islands with a Chip system so no need to carry cash.

BlauHaus

If you're tired from the Tropical Islands and fancy some delicious dinner on the way back to Leipzig then look no further than the BlauHaus. This remote restaurant has an intriguing ambience combined with great cuisine. The roast beef here is especially good with tantalising vegetable dishes too. Additionally there are burgers, pasta and other meals which the children will be happy to tuck into.
