This is one of the most famous sculptures in the city. It was made in tribute to the keepers of courtyards. You can stop by for a nice photo.

After lunch you can spend a few hours walking around the Jewish quarter. You can start in Puerta de Almodovar and walk along the Jewish street to see Andalusian houses, the synagogue of Cordoba and the statue of Maimónides. Then you can walk along calle Tomas Conde and calle Caballerías Reales.

If you have time (because you are not going to enter another monument) you can stop for a tea with sweets at Delicias del Califato. There you can buy tea threads and Moroccan souvenirs.

If you are in the city on a weekend and you want to visit the Alcazar, but you can't get there because of the timetable, you can visit this area after the Great Mosque and then continue the walk through the Jewish quarter.

You can find one more sculpture, where you will see a grandfather and his grandson taking care of the pots and flowers. Another nice place for a picture.

The Roman bridge was built in the 1st century B.C. and had several modifications. It has 16 arches and from there you can see beautiful views of the city and Mosque-Cathedral.

Time for dinner! After a long day of walking and historical visits, you can have dinner and return to the hotel to rest.
One possibility is to go to the Plaza del Toro and choose one of the many restaurants in the area. One of them is Taberna La Alquería where you will find traditional Cordovan and Andalusian food. If there is a place, choose to eat on the terrace because there is an excellent atmosphere.

You can spend the second night in the same hotel because it has a very good location and you can arrive on foot from several places.
