Now it may not be pretty, but you will never forget your first taste of Smalahove--the traditional Western Norwegian sheep's head dish. The family-run farm of Smalahovetunet in Voss has it down to an art and offers visitors a chance to try the unusual delicacy whilst also checking out the cured and smoked meats in their farm shop.
The farm shop does not have fixed opening hours but is open the whole year-round when there are people at the farm. You can contact them ahead of time to double check by sending an e-mail to post@smalahovetunet.no.

Make your entrance into Bergen one you'll always remember with a quick funicular ride from the city centre up to the viewpoint. The dramatic aerial view over the city from the Fløyen mountain will get you even more excited for what this "city of seven mountains" has in store for you.
The funicular runs daily from 8 am - 11 pm May-September. From October-December, weekends are 9 am- 11 pm.

With an ethos of offering the best that Western Norway has to offer, Bare Restaurant & Bar received a Michelin star for its focus on organic small producers and innovative dishes. The tasting menu includes dishes such as pickled and roasted mackerel, scallops from Øygarden, and waffle ice cream.
