    Welcome to the Rhine Fall experience. The thunderous River Rhine gushes at an astonishing rate of 600,000 litres per second during summer, creating Europe’s largest and most powerful waterfall. It may only be 23 metres (75.46 feet) tall, but this waterfall is an impressive sight.
    There are various promenades and viewpoints which allow you to see the waterfall in all its glory, while Schloss Laufen is perched imperiously above it, completing the perfect scene. There is a ferry crossing from one bank to the other, and boat trips up to the falls are also available. If a boat trip does not entice you, simply walk across the Rheinbrücke bei Laufen to the other side and get an alternative view of the falls.
