The Aussichtsturm Barhöft is a lookout tower offering a beautiful view of the futuristic landscape. In the later stage of the 1900s, the militaries mostly used this lookout tower before it was turned into a nature park. People need to access the observation tower through an external staircase located outside the tower.
The tower is seventeen meters high, visitors have to climb one hundred and two steps to reach atop the tower and take in the beautiful scenery of the town. It is a nearby park that features playground equipment which makes it perfect for kids.

The Sundpromenade is a park that offers waterfront facilities to its visitors. It is known for being the most scenic view of this part of the beachfront. The park was structured in 1928 and has been recently upgraded, but kept the original feel of the structure.
There is beautiful clear water here and it's defiantly they worth taking a swim and seeing the local sea life swimming around you. The landscape is a truly unique landscape with dense forest meeting the sandy shore of the beach.

The Kreidesee Zeiten is a beautiful and vast quarry pond in Rugen, and it runs for a distance of 574 kilometers along the coastline of a lagoon. The hole beneath the pond was created in the early days of mining, exploring for white gold and storage.
Before the area was excavated, only the lake remains amidst the half-hidden forests with a tint of green and turquoise in some places. The Kreidesee Zeiten, also known as the Chalk Quarry, also serves to be a wonderful destination for hiking along its coastline.

The Kniepower See und Katharinensee is a nature reserve covering an area of around 30 hectares. It offers a hiking trail that leads along the coastline of this peninsula. The Kniepower See und Katharinensee are two lakes that are connected in the middle with a small amount of water passing between them.
The structure of this lake was made by changing landscapes done to the defrosting process of the last ice age. This lake has a dense population of waterweed with wide varieties of floras and faunas, including white water lilies.
