Monasteries and Castles by The River
You are going to start this journey following the river with the first stop at the Mommies Museum. Then you will explore the Monastery of Nuestra Señora de Rueda, a treasure on the banks of the river. You will visit the Castle of the Suda, a Charles II castle, that was used to control the river. You will finish the day learning about the life around the river in the Museum of the Lands of Ebro.

Museo de las Momias de Quinto
Inside the old church was found, in 2011, thousands of mommies that were buried between the 15th century and the 19th century. Today is a museum where you can admire the perfect conservation of 15 mommies. The only museum in Spain with these characteristics, exposed in the same place where they were buried.

Monasterio de Nuestra Señora de Rueda
Just on the riverside, you can visit this Cistercian monastery, with a magnificent church, a gothic cluster, a Mudejar tower and a huge hydraulic wheel with 18 meters.
The surrounded area is also wonderful to have some nice views of the Ebro river.
