Keukenhof
Natural
The flowers of the Keukenhof are in bloom from the end of March to mid-May. Visitors from all over the world come to admire the rows of colourful flowers – it’s a unique sight that’s well worth a visit. This spring there are more than seven million flowers in bloom, including more than 80 different tulip varieties. The flowers are impressive enough in themselves, but there are also flower shows, inspirational gardens, artworks and events. Please help to maintain the beauty of the flower fields by not walking across or between them. The Keukenhof is open from 21 March to 13 May.

De Tulperij
Natural
De Tulperij has been run by the Jansze family since 1927, and is now owned by the third generation. There’s something you can do here that isn’t allowed elsewhere: take photos among the tulips, hyacinths and daffodils in the flower fields. You can also enjoy a coffee and a slice of Dutch apple pie in the greenhouse, and take part in various workshops.

Museum White Tulip
History
The flower fields are beautiful and the Keukenhof is unique, but you can appreciate them all the more if you know something about the history of flower bulbs in the Netherlands. At Museum de Zwarte Tulp (‘the Black Tulip Museum’) you can find out how bulbs were grown a century ago, and learn more about the bulb business itself. There are also beautiful art exhibitions – until 9 June 2019, Colors of Spring by Zhuang Hong Yi.
