Florida Coast Relaxation

Road Trip Route. Dine at the best restaurants in Miami, Relax on the famous beaches in Miami Beach, Check out golf clubs and casinos of the city.

Holiday in Miami is always an unforgettable experience. This resort center is literally replete with various attractions, and you can't go everywhere and see all the most interesting things in one trip, so this scenario focuses on the very sites that should be given primary consideration. We not only relax on the wide sandy beaches, but also spend time in the city casino, where concerts and performances are often held, and a golf club, where we can have a great time playing the game and take some lessons from recognized masters. The second part of the trip includes walks in the most beautiful parks and gardens of Miami. Among other things, we will explore the coastline of Miami Beach and, of course, be sure to check out the best restaurants of the city.

Travel Itinerary and Road Trip Route

Day 1: On the Trip Doorstep

We arrive in Miami today, and since we don’t have much time left, we spend it on important organizational issues related to car rental and check-in at the hotel.

LPM Restaurant & Bar

After arriving in Miami you need a good dinner. The cozy French restaurant La Petite Maison, located near the coast, is fine for this. French cuisine, in general, is quite varied and has many excellent dishes, but I can safely recommend onion soup, snails, or king prawns, and those who no longer have to drive a car can indulge in an excellent selection of wines.

Day 2: Gambling Experience and Outdoor Activities

Today is going to be a very active and exciting day, because we have a plan to go to a golf club and visit a casino, which offers not only gambling, but also watching performances by musicians and comedians.

Haulover Sandbar

Haulover Sandbar is a rather large picturesque sandbank located on the shores of the bay that separates the continental part of the city from the island. It is not very deep, and anyone can take a boat trip along the bay, including along the Sandspur Island.

The day is just beginning, and now you should eat something, because the most pleasant is yet to come. A cafe by the sea, Houston’s, is perfect for this. The place is quite popular with both locals and tourists, thanks to a good selection of meat and fish dishes. For lunch, you can order Scottish salmon or a chicken with spices.

Jacaranda Golf Club

One of the many advantages of Florida, along with beaches and parks, are golf clubs. The favorable landscape of the southern part of the peninsula has been the basis for the creation of many sites and fields for the game. Jacaranda Golf Club offers both playing and taking a few lessons. You can also rent all necessary equipment here.

Seasons 52

We move on and along the way we came across a rather attractive Seasons 52 restaurant. Thanks to the calm and elegant atmosphere, it is tempting to stay here longer. To my taste, I can recommend dishes such as lobster with mozzarella cheese and stuffed tomatoes.

Seminole Casino Coconut Creek

Seminole Casino Coconut Creek is not only a casino, but also a popular concert venue where local musicians, stand-up comedians, artists and dancers perform. The evening here will be not only gambling, but also fun, because several artists perform here every night. A nice addition will be the fact that the casino building has several bars and cafes to dine in a cozy atmosphere.

Day 3: Miami Parks and Gardens

Today we take trips to the parks and gardens of the city. The nature of the state is unique, so local authorities and entrepreneurs make great efforts to preserve and demonstrate its beauty.

85th Street Beach

Starting the day, we stop at the famous Miami Beach coastline at 85th Street Beach. The location of the beach is noteworthy in that it adjoins a picturesque park where you can take a jog or walk. The beach itself is a rather long coastline, the coast is always clean, lifeguards are on duty every 100 meters.

Mandolin Aegean Bistro

Not so often we come across good Mediterranean restaurants on our way, but Mandolin Aegean Bistro is just such a place. The main feature of this cuisine is the freshness of the ingredients, because it directly affects the taste of the dishes. Mandolin Aegean Bistro is especially popular with fish dishes and salads, and if you are a seafood lover like me, you will definitely like grilled octopus.

Regatta Park

Regatta Park is a place where you can take a walk in any weather. On a hot day, you can easily hide in the shade of trees from the heat. In addition, benches, playgrounds and sports grounds are equipped in the park, and people often play football on the greened lawn. Also, various public events, including concerts and festivals, sometimes take place here.

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is an organization whose main goal is to preserve nature and educate people. There are unique plant samples, a special microclimate and paths and benches equipped for walking and relaxing in the park. Also in the garden, art exhibitions and concerts are often held in designated areas.

Spa at Eden Roc

Spa at Eden Roc is a relaxation center that offers many leisure services, including fitness and spa. Here you can enjoy wellness treatments, and then relax on the terrace with views of the ocean or city. There is also a restaurant where you can choose from several culinary trends.

Ola Restaurant

The day is coming to an end, and on the way to the hotel we've met a restaurant of Latin American cuisine. Perhaps, few would refuse to take salmon ceviche or fried pork with mojo sauce for dinner. And personally, I liked the beef with Churrasco sauce. Those who are not driving can consult a local sommelier on a selection of wines.

Day 4: Miami Beach Morning Walk

Today we don’t have much time left, so we’ll try to spend it to the maximum benefit, namely walk along the coast in a picturesque park near the southern part of the beach.

South Pointe Park

South Pointe Park is a beautiful place which ensures to meet both sunrise and sunset in a smart and welcoming environment. Along the neat paths, there are small benches, and the park also offers beautiful views of the city and the liners and yachts floating in the ocean. Another significant advantage of the park is its location in the immediate vicinity of the beach, so while walking here you can also go ashore.

The Local House

Today we have breakfast in a cozy cafe located near the coast. For breakfast, a fairly wide range of dishes is offered, among which beef stew with cheese, potatoes and eggs and assorted seafood and salads are worth highlighting. For dessert, you can take coconut or lemon pie.
