An entertaining and informative itinerary for the whole family. On the first day we will get acquainted with nomadic culture and ride camels in ethnopark "Nomad". We'll touch the Russian way of life at the Abramtsevo Museum Estate, take a walk around Sergiev Posad and finally learn how to cook scented Landrines in the Sergievsky Kitchen Shop. The next day we will visit Holy Trinity Lavra and at the end of our trip we will have a rest in the open air amusement park.
The first stop is Nomad Ethnopark in the open air. Explore the life and traditions of nomadic peoples, meet camels and Mongolian yaks, taste Buryat buuza and Uzbek lagman. Afterwards, you can stroll through picturesque Abramtsevo, where dozens of the most talented Russian artists and writers have worked. Then you can stop by cozy Sergiev Posad, look at Trinity-Sergiyev Lavra from the height of Blinnaya Mountain, glance at former monastery stables and, finally, finish your day with the culinary master class in the atmospheric kukhmisterkoy.
We are going to the real camel farm. We will ride camels (there are 14 of them), meet Mongolian yaks, take a ride in a reindeer or dog sled. We will have a lunch in the yurt with the dishes of nomadic peoples (bouzy, lagman, stew of venison). We will drink Mongolian herbal tea with crispy brushwood and, as it is proper for nomads, hit the road again. Important: the ethno park works only on weekends and Fridays from 10:00. Payment at the park is made in cash. Tickets can be purchased [online](http://ethno-park.ru/bilet/).
The great Abramtsevo, which has been on our ears since our school years. Remember "The Girl with Peaches" by V.A. Serov and "Alyonushka" by V.M. Vasnetsov? The famous paintings were painted here. We can walk around the estate on our own (except the main manor house) or choose one of the excursions with a creative workshop for children from 3 years old. Tickets to the main manor house can be purchased online. Monday, Tuesday and the last Thursday of each month are days off.
There's a very special museum waiting for us. Are you ready? Get to know the old kitchen appliances and try them out in a master class on how to make scented Landrin lollipops. Then we will move to a cafe, where we will try Russian cuisine cooked according to the recipes of the 19th-20th centuries. We will finish our meal by tasting tea from a hollow samovar.
This used to be a monastery stables. Now there is a museum, where valuable objects of the Holy Trinity Laura are collected. If you want, we can take a look at one of the expositions or admire the old cannons and bells outside. Important: the museum complex is not open on Monday and Tuesday.
How about a leisurely stroll around Sergiev Posad? Let's climb Pancake Mountain or, as the locals say, "Blinka". The area used to be famous for its pancake houses. You can imagine, to regale oneself with local pancakes was as important as to bow to the relics of Sergius of Radonezh! Alas, nowadays we can't treat ourselves to it, but we can easily admire Trinity-Sergius Lavra in all its beauty from above.
Dinner time! A tasty pause in our busy schedule today. Take a closer look at how many curious things are hidden in this cafe for physics enthusiasts!
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Trinity Sergius Lavra. Walk around the beautiful complex of fifty architectural creations. Then you can spend your time in the X-Land Park, where you can choose your favorite activity.
In this place you will find dishes that our children are so used to (eggs, porridges, pancakes with different toppings). And, of course, dumplings with the most diverse and unusual fillings, cooked classically, in an oven, in a pan and steam.
Let's touch the history of one of the most important Russian shrines, founded in the 14th century by St. Sergius of Radonezh. We will see the largest bell in operation in Russia, the Tsar Bell, weighing 72 tonnes, and one of the oldest bells, the Swan, which was given to the monastery by Boris Godunov in the 16th century. We can take a walk around the Lavra on our own or [order an excursion](http://stsl.ru/excursions/).
Next, for a change, there's extreme sports and entertainment. Here you can play laser tag, paintball and archery. Book the game in advance at [website](https://www.vtoru.ru/).
Lunch in an atmospheric restaurant away from the noisy pistes. Russian cuisine is wonderfully prepared here.
Before returning to Moscow - a walk near a picturesque monastery.
There's a gas station coming up. If you are tired, make a comfortable stop - come for a coffee!
Let's have dinner on the shore of the Klyazma River, at the Moreman Restaurant. European cuisine, excellent seafood, pleasant interiors and a view of yachts and boats! Important: The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
