Thanks to this route you can enjoy the beauty of architecture and nature in Arkhangelskoye and even see the manor, where once loved to visit A.S. Pushkin and N.M. Karamzin, take a ride on a catamaran in the local lake, visit the reserve "Lohin Island", where you can enjoy the forest coolness and the purest pine air, as well as have lunch in a cafe, the interior of which follows the style of manors of the past centuries.
Today we will visit the palace-museum complex "Arkhangelskoye" and get acquainted with the rich history of this place, take a ride on catamarans, have lunch in a cafe in the style of an ancient manor house, see the lake, which is more than 12000 years old and taste Vietnamese cuisine.
Arkhangelskoye is a palace and park ensemble of the XVIII century, located in the Moscow region, not far from Krasnogorsk. On the territory there is an ancient manor, which once belonged to the Golitsyn family and Prince N.B. Yusupov. A.S. Pushkin, N.M. Karamzin, V.A. Serov, I.F. Stravinsky and even the royal family have often visited the estate. The manor has been reconstructed many times, but even nowadays it continues to amaze guests with its beauty and history. On the territory of the complex there are also the Temple of Yusupovs, the Temple of Archangel Michael, a small palace "Caprice", a tea house, a monument to Catherine II, a pink fountain and much more! Here you can stroll along shady alleys, enjoy the nature and beauty of architecture of the past centuries.
There is also a cafe "7 dacha", where you can have a tasty and inexpensive lunch. The cafe repeats the cuisine and interior of the estates of the last century, which will allow you to immerse yourself even more in the atmosphere of that time!
Close to the architectural complex there is a lake where you can take a ride on a catamaran, boat or just enjoy a walk and the local scenery.
"Lohin Island" is a reserve, which was formed in the XIX century because of the straightening of the Moskva River bed, and today even has the status of a state natural monument of regional importance. There are many representatives of the flora, listed in the Red Book, and the main attraction of the reserve - Lake Deaf Yama, which, according to stories, is more than 12000 years old! Here you can walk through the forest, enjoy the coniferous fragrance and purest air, and if you are lucky - even collect a handful of forest berries.
And we'll finish our mini-journey in a cozy Vietnamese cafe with an unusual name "Slim Po". But do not worry if you are not a fan of Oriental cuisine, because in the menu you will find not only pits and noodles with seafood, but also crumbs, pancakes and a variety of desserts. Pleasant atmosphere, democratic prices and delicious dishes will surely please you!
