The museum is dedicated to Arina Rodionovna, a serf woman. She became the main woman in the life of Alexander Pushkin. Arina Rodionovna was the poet's nanny. He dedicated his famous poem "Winter Evening" to her:
"What are you, my old woman, Silent at the window?
The museum itself was opened in 1974. The hut, where the museum is located, was allocated to Arina Rodionovna's family in 1795 by Messrs. Hannibal-Pushkin for her good service. Here she lived with her husband and children.
Hours of operation: October 1 through April 30: Tuesday - Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday: No holidays
From May 1 to September 30: Tuesday - Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday: off

In the village of Siversky on top of a hill, which offers an amazing view of the river Oredezh, opened an interesting museum "Dacha Capital".
In the nineteenth century, Siversky was considered the best dacha village near St. Petersburg.
Museum opened in the old, wooden, preserved "Guest House", which is more than 120 years old. Blok, Bely, Hippius, Merezhkovsky, Mayakovsky, Chukovsky and Akhmatova once stayed here.

I suggest that we don't return from the past and visit a cafe stylized as a nineteenth-century tavern. The interior is decorated in the traditional Russian style: Russian stove and wooden tables. The cuisine is authentically Russian.

The famous writer V.V. Nabokov once lived in this place. Nabokov, but during the revolution, he and his family were forced to leave Russia. In the farmstead there is an exposition that tells about the history of the village, the fate of the owners of the farmstead, about the life and work of Vladimir Nabokov.
Please note, the museum building is closed to the public during the restoration work, which will continue until December 1, 2024.
Nevertheless the estate park and the village of Rozhdestvenskoe itself are open to visitors. Tours are available from Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00. Pre-registration is by phone +7 931 004 42 53 or by e-mail [email protected].

At the end of the day I suggest a walk or a picnic on the shore of a picturesque body of water - Lake Orlin.

I suggest that you stop in Luga for dinner and spend the evening in Terrazza Café, located in a pine forest. Enjoy the pleasant atmosphere, the wonderful view from the panoramic windows and delicious food at affordable prices.

After dinner I suggest to go towards Dzerzhinsky, there is an excellent recreation center on the lake shore, where we will spend the night.
