Parco Regionale Spina Verde
Start the morning right by exploring this protected park that any nature lover can enjoy. Inside the park, you'll find a number of routes that you can take but I would definitely recommend walking towards Baradello Castle. It's self-guided and the trail is pretty clear to follow.
This castle was built at the start of the 5th century and today the only thing left standing is the tower due to years of war, destruction, and several attempts at rebuilding. Once there, you'll get an amazing view of Como and on a really clear day, you can even spot Switzerland and the skyline of Milan
If you are looking for a guided tour, every Sunday you'll find tours available every 30 minutes between 10:00 AM-6:00 PM. Reservations are required.
