Exploring Alberobello and its Trulli

The caves of Castellana are an interesting curiosity. Actually, the region of Apulia has a lot of caves. But these are the most famous and best ones to visit, it is the longest underground network of South Italy. You should take the long itinerary so you can go until the white cave which is the most beautiful part.

When you arrive to Alberobello, you can park the car at your hotel or they will recommend a parking lot and go explore the beautiful town on foot.

Trullo Sovrano is the only trullo in town with two floors. You should definitely visit inside. It is now a small museum that recreates the trullo life.

After dinner, you should definitely walk around the Trulli again. When it's dark and all the busloads of tourists have left, Alberobello becomes a very quiet town.
