La Corniche d'Or Scenic Road

Start the day with a nice hike around the Pointe de l'Aiguille State Park. Cliffs on one side, beaches on the other side, you will enjoy amazing views the whole time. You will also get a nice viewpoint on the Lerins islands and Cannes. And don't forget to enjoy the local flora if you take the path going more inside or you can just follow the coast where the pathway is more flat. And of course, you can relax and enjoy the beach.

Le Palais Bulles which means "the bubble palace" is a private property so you cannot visit it and it is best observed from the road. This house was built in 1984 by Pierre Bernard with the architect Antti Lovag with a dreamy architecture made of bubbles where the light can penetrate. Then it was bought by the designer Pierre Cardin in 1992. You can read more information on the website.
The Maison Bernard, only 10 minutes away by car, is from the same architect with the same architectural style and can be visited but only on Tuesdays and by appointment. Book on the website if you are interested.

This is a nice place to stop on the corniche d'or as there is a nice viewpoint with incredible views of the surroundings. And there is an orientation table showing you the names of what you see.

The drive until here along the corniche d'or is absolutely spectacular so take your time and enjoy the view. Drive carefully as the road has many turns and you could be distracted by the amazing landscape. There are several places you can stop to take photos or go on a hike or stop for a swim so feel free to stop wherever you feel like and wherever the spot inspires you. Here you can see the rocks of the island in front of that spot. So it is a nice spot to stop.

Enjoy the nice sandy beach in Agay. It is a pleasant place to relax and go for a swim, especially when it is really hot outside. Between two hikes and some driving, it is nice to relax and refresh at the beach. The temperature of the Mediterranean sea is very nice in Summer.

Take the hike of the Cap Dramont, one of the most beautiful site of the area, though it's pretty amazing everywhere with the red rocks diving into the deep blue sea. Here you will also get great views of "l'ile d'or", this small island inspired Herge in the 1930s for its Tintin adventure in the black island. The pathway goes through beautiful creeks with typical Mediterranean vegetation. And on the way, you have QR codes that you can scan to get more information about the local fauna, the flora and the geology of this place.

Check out this nice rocky point with a coastal walk. But if you are tired, you can just enjoy the beach right here and have a swim.

Now you can leave your car and park it at your hotel, check in and have a shower first. Then you can have dinner at this very nice restaurant right next to your hotel. Very good cuisine here with big portions.
