Once you leave Pagosa Springs, you'll make a quick detour to visit a 100 ft waterfall and later travel back in town to ghost towns and learn about the mining industry that once ran these small towns.

Your first top at the Gunnison River will excite you for your visit to Black Canyon at Gunnison National Park. The end of the way will be in Ouray, named one of the coolest small towns in the U.S.

      On this last day, you'll travel through the million-dollar highway and stop in small towns such as Silverton that used to be solely focused on mining. You'll later stretch your legs on a short but sweet hike to Snowden Peak and then explore the historic district of Durango.
