Shatura, Christmas tree toys factory, deer farm and ski resort

At the exit from Shatura, one kilometer north of the village of Krasnoe, there is a holy spring in the name of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. The spring is arranged and a small chapel is built nearby. Water flows through a wide gutter into the open font, where you can take a dip (there are wooden stairs). The water is cold, with a noticeable smell of hydrogen sulphide and a tang of iron.

The Iney factory is the oldest company producing handmade glass Christmas decorations. It was built back in 1937!
The factory offers guided tours: you can learn about the history of Christmas decorations and the work of the company. Master classes in glass ball painting are also available.

For lunch you can drop in "Green Cafe" on the outskirts of the town of Kurovskoye. The cafe is located on the territory of the Silver Spring Sanatorium. Before visiting be sure to reserve a table by calling 8 (919) 411-59-59 - the institution is often rented for weddings and anniversaries.

The history of the Northern Reindeer Farm dates back to 2003, when Alexander Bondarchuk bought two reindeer destined for slaughter from a state farm on the Kola Peninsula. The pets were brought to the suburbs of Moscow, and over the years the number of herds has increased 7-fold.
The farm welcomes guests on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 17:00 by appointment on the website or by phone 8 (916) 40-30-444 and 8 (916) 54-00-442.
When it snows, guests at the farm get a chance to take a reindeer-drawn sleigh ride. But even without snow, you can still meet the fluffy-nosed reindeer! The reindeer can be petted and fed: feeding the reindeer and a visit to the museum (without a tour) are included in the ticket price.

Club Guy Severin is one of the six largest ski complexes in the Moscow region. Here you can take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the fresh air and luxurious views.
You can ski even after sunset: the slopes are illuminated. There's a training trail for beginners and a more complicated one for professionals. The complex is equipped with rope tow lifts. What's convenient is that points, added to the ski pass, can be used within two years.
